Transconjunctival Lower Blepharoplasty: Who May Benefit?
18.09.2026
The transconjunctival approach is made from inside the lower lid and leaves no external skin incision.
What needs assessment
It is usually considered for fat bulges when skin and lid tone are adequate. The tear trough and eye-corner position are also assessed.
How the method is selected
Fat may be removed or repositioned. Marked loose skin may require an additional technique. Related procedure: lower blepharoplasty.
Limits and recovery
It does not correct every cause of dark circles. Swelling and temporary sensory changes remain possible.
FAQ
Can the method be chosen from photographs alone?
No. Photographs help with orientation but do not replace tissue examination and medical assessment.
Will everyone have the same result?
No. Anatomy, tissue quality, surgical extent and healing all matter.
This educational material does not replace an examination or individual consultation.
